On Thursday 29th February, at 06:00 am UTC, we will perform an update of our software to version 11.12. During the upgrade normal service may be disrupted for a short time.

Summary of Key New Features for 11.12 

Database Updates

• We will update a number of integral databases. Updates are reflected in our database source page 

Variant Calling

• Third Party Software updates
  We have updated all of our third party software tools, including the variant callers. It is possible to see version numbers of the various tools we use in your analysis’ QC report 
• Removal of Realignment Step 
  In line with guidance from the GATK Best Practices, we no longer perform indel realignment in the bam file.
• GATK Guidelines for Somatic Pipeline
  The Tumor-only and Tumor-normal somatic pipeline have been enhanced to reflect new GATK best practices.
